The RUPALOKA series, in progress, began in 2012, progressively developing as four subseries: IL RAPIMENTO DI PROSERPINA, ALFABETO IONICO, PARADISI INFERIORI and I PILASTRI DELL'ARTE. In the Buddhist cosmology RUPALOKA is the metaphysical dimension of primordial forms, situated between KAMALOKA, the realm of the senses, and ARUPALOKA, the realm without form. This subseries, ALFABETO IONICO (IONIC ALPHABET), has been used to illustrate the book Thauma, il poema della filosofia ionica by Michelangelo Coviello, published in 2013 by Enrico Casaccia Editore. |
