FINISHED ARTEFACTS Creativity, by its nature, is manifested in innovative, sometimes transgressive forms and contents. But, in order to communicate concretely, it must be readable, must be represented by finished artefacts, just enough finished to be recognised as "works" and not as arbitrary externalities. [ from LA LOTTA DI GIACOBBE, Storia di un trittico, september 2017 ] INFORMAL METAPHYSICAL PAINTING I insist: my painting is not abstract painting. I could rather say I am an hyperlandscape painter. I paint what I see when I physically look around myself. I have a telescope and a microscope incorporated in the organ of sight. I can accept it is informal painting, not abstract one. The concepts are abstract, and so the deliberate attempt to represent them. I sketch the structure of physical reality as I exactly perceive it, not as I imagine or conceive it. And I exploit these visions to compose, from the heart, informal metaphysical poetries. I reserve the use of rational brain just to the professional management.  CREATIVITY IS A PHYSIOLOGICAL CONDITION We identify the artist with the creative action as if it were an audacious free choice, while it is the consequence of a physiological condition, a sort of super-sensibility, the transparent perception of the weave of reality. THE KEY ROLE OF ART In this time of pressing change of the culture and society, Art, because of its creative, intuitive and visionary quality, has a key role in orienting and in planning a sustainable, evolutionary, synergistic and virtuous future, in reworking the ethical and aesthetic models, in supporting the practice of awareness as an egocentric system overcoming.
